The heart of Dreams of Crystal

Beauty with a living history.

Every curve, vein, shade, and small imperfection belongs to a real flower. Instead of erasing those differences, Sarai preserves them—turning a fleeting bloom into a personal work of art.

Genuinely botanical

Orchids, roses, daisies, and other real flowers are at the center of the work.

Preserved with care

Each flower is dried, sealed in clear resin, cured, and finished by hand.

Uniquely yours

No two flowers grow alike, so no two finished pieces can ever be identical.

The language of flowers

Each bloom carries a feeling.

Flower meanings vary across cultures, but these are the ideas that inspire Sarai while she creates.

Other Blooms

Sarai also follows inspiration beyond familiar flowers, allowing color, shape, and season to guide the design.

From living bloom to lasting art

A patient, hands-on process.

A flower cannot be rushed. Every stage protects its natural form while preparing it to become something wearable.

  1. 01

    Select

A real flower is chosen for its character, color, and natural structure.

  2. 02

    Dry

The bloom is carefully dried, often in silica gel, to remove moisture while holding its form.

  3. 03

    Compose

Sarai studies the flower and pairs it with chains, stones, pearls, or beads.

  4. 04

    Preserve

Layers of crystal-clear resin seal and protect the delicate petals by hand.

  5. 05

    Cure

The resin is cured and inspected, one flower at a time.

  6. 06

    Finish

Final details are assembled into a wearable piece that exists only once.

The first bloom

A beginning that sold out in days.

Dreams of Crystal’s first collection found new homes within its first few days. The early campaign photographs were AI-enhanced, creating a polished introduction to the work.

But something important was lost: the honest texture and individuality of the real flowers. Sarai chose a new direction. Today, product photos and videos remain natural and unenhanced, allowing every organic detail to be seen as it truly is.

“The essence is real. The flower should still look like itself.”

Another side of the studio

Handmade candles with a playful soul.

Sarai’s candle work brings the same love of color, flowers, texture, and small details into warm decorative pieces.

Creativity shared

Small hands, wonderful ideas.

One of Sarai’s most joyful experiences was guiding a five-year-old through a jewelry-making session—choosing colors, arranging beads, and seeing a complete set come to life.

These gentle, guided creative experiences celebrate patience, imagination, and the pride of making something with your own hands.

Meet the artisan

Sarai Tamayo Ramirez

Born in Gibara, Cuba, Sarai has always lived close to movement, beauty, and making. Dreams of Crystal gathers a lifetime of creativity into one deeply personal studio.

Her path has moved through synchronized swimming, fashion, nail artistry, hairdressing, cooking, painting, decoration, motherhood, and life across several countries. Each chapter strengthened her eye for detail and her determination to create beauty with meaning.

After moving to Beijing with her husband and son, Mario, Sarai began searching for a creative project that could support her well-being and personal expression. She taught herself candle-making and botanical jewelry, combining flowers, color, fragrance, and design.

What began as a personal source of healing quickly drew the attention of others. Today, Sarai presents her work at community events and continues to grow Dreams of Crystal with patience, resilience, and love.

“Dreams of Crystal is a dream, a form of healing, and an expression of who I am.”

A story with every piece

Frequently asked questions

A few things people often ask.

Are the flowers real?

Yes. Every botanical element begins as a real flower. Sarai favors orchids and also works with roses, daisies, and other blossoms.

How are the flowers preserved?

The flowers are carefully dried, encapsulated in clear resin, cured, and then assembled into jewelry by hand.

Will my piece look exactly like a photo?

No two pieces are identical. Natural differences in shape, color, texture, and petal placement are what make each work unique.

How do I care for botanical jewelry?

Keep it away from water, perfume, harsh chemicals, prolonged direct sunlight, and high heat. Store it in a cool, dry place when not worn.

How do I purchase a piece?

Purchases are arranged directly with Sarai through WeChat, email, or phone. She will confirm availability, pricing, collection, delivery, and payment details with you.

Does Sarai accept custom requests?

You are welcome to share a preferred flower, color, style, or occasion. Custom work depends on flower availability and the needs of the design.
